Mixed experiences: Be cautious when considering treatment recommendationsI've had varied experiences at this practice. While I'm satisfied with my current dentist, I had concerning experiences with a previous dentist that I believe others should be aware of.1. I was recommended an expensive night guard for teeth grinding, despite minimal evidence of this issue and in a way that I believe plays on people's anxiety so they jump at solving the problem. The guard when delivered was so bulky, it was horrendous to use and alternative options were not discussed that I only discovered after. But to make this worse, when I received a second opinion it turns out I wasn't grinding my teeth at all. The treatment was not necessary.2. During a wisdom tooth extraction, the dentist was very rough during the procedure, at one point they were stretching my jaw so wide it felt like it was at risk of breaking. At one point, their instrument slipped and crashed into my other teeth, very surprised this didn't cause damage. Overall, I experienced discomfort that went beyond what I'd get for a tooth extraction.It's very difficult to get these sort of businesses to take accountability, reviews like this feel like the only way. I did raise this with Taylored Dental but received the standard response of 'we're sorry you feel this way'.Overall, I would recommend being cautious when getting treatment recommendations that you actually need it.

Friendly, professional and patient centred dental practice. Never feel nervous attending as I know Katerina is always so kind and gentle. Would recommend to all, especially those who find going to the dentist stressful.

As a really anxious and nervous patient I cannot recommend Taylored Dental Care Idle enough. I have been avoiding the dentist for years. After finally taking the leap I was made to feel so cared for and as such I have completed around 4 visits in 6 months to complete all my outstanding work (5 fillings). I will never be a fan of the dentist but I now go knowing I will be made to feel so comfortable and understood. Thanks for all the help and the great service :)

Kat, Jasmine and team have been amazing, from the initial chat and a brew they have been kind, compassionate and understanding. Jasmine has talked with me whilst waiting, and Kat and her nurse have kept me at ease, explained everything and made sure that I couldn't feel anything. The staff at Taylored Dental Care in Idle are friendly and helpful and as always Kat was brilliant. Not only does she put you at ease she carries out the dental treatment as painlessly as possible. Of course this level of care comes at a cost but is worth it.

I don’t like going to the dentist but these guys really make it ok! I know I’m in good hands and I’m always kept up to date with everything relating to my mouth health. I’m on the monthly plan and I think it’s really worth the money. Appointment reminders are a strong plus too, so you never miss an appointment! Kat is my favourite dentist ever!

Had my six month check up with Katerina last week and discovered that I needed a filling, an appointment with Charlotte the practise therapist was made for the following week, as a senior citizen in her mid seventies with extreme dental phobia due to very bad experiences with the school dentist this made me feel very nervous, I had my filling yesterday and I can honestly say to anyone who is as nervous about the dentist as I am that this is the dental practise to go to, from Charlotte coming down to reception to collect me right through to the filling itself the whole experience was pain free. Thank you to all the staff at Idle for making their patients feel welcome.

I changed to Taylored Dental Care Idle a while back and it's the best decision I ever made. As soon as you walk through the door you're welcomed by such friendly receptionists and they've always got a smile on their faces. Katerina is an amazing dentist. So kind and pays great attention to detail to your teeth. If you ever have any concerns she'll put your mind at ease. I always leave with a big smile on my face and I would very highly recommend Taylored Dental Care Idle.

I’ve never been one to have any issue at dentists or anything like that, but even disregarding that, this has been the best dental experience I’ve had. I booked an examination to start with and that was incredibly thorough and comprehensive. It turned out I needed a couple of fillings so I had two additional appointments and both were exceptional. A clear patient focused approach throughout and Katerina was upbeat and chirpy at all times, which made it a bit less serious than some dentist experiences can be (in the best way possible). I’ve since joined the membership and feel better about my dental health and the treatment I get than I have ever done before.

I would highly recommend Taylored Dental Care in Idle, the whole team are professional, polite and compassionate about their work. If you are nervous or anxious about going to the dentist make an appointment with Kat. She will make you feel comfortable and at ease with her calm friendly manner. During my recent treatment I had several appointments, at each one Kat explained what she was going to do and communicated throughout the procedure ensuring I was not feeling any discomfort. The whole process was totally pain free, thank you Kat and your team you are all amazing.

From my first contact with Taylored Dental Care Keighley I was made to feel completely at ease. So much so following my initial treatments under sedation with Graham I have had two visits to Sarah and not felt anxious at all either in the waiting room or in the surgery. This in itself is huge for me! I have seen Matt for several appointments and I cannot recommend him enough he is an absolute professional and puts you at ease immediately you enter the room. I would highly recommend Taylored Dental Care and only wish I’d found them sooner.

Since coming to the practice 6 months ago after many years of not visiting a dentist I can not praise too highly the care I have receivedTo say I was very afraid is putting it mildly. But from my first contact with Jssmine and seeing Graham for the first time I was met with nothing but care concern and a desire to help. There was no judgement at all. It has been 30 yrs since my Dad had been to the dentist and now aged 91 I must admit I was quite apprehensive about how he would cope. From my first initial enquiry on the phone to the last review visit he has received excellent care. All the staff have been so helpful , kind and understanding. He is now the proud owner of a beaming smile something he hadn't been able to do for years. His new dentures are perfect and he has been so pleased with the service he has received. He wished he had done it years ago. A big thank you to all the staff especially to Matt for his attention to detail and professional approach.

Fabulous dentist!All the staff are wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. Abby and Charlotte in reception, who are amazing at keeping me calm before any appointment.Graham is just the best dentist ever. He is so calm and patient. From my very first appointment when I could barely go in the room let alone sit in the chair, Graham and Louise allowed me to go at my own pace, making sure I was ok and comfortable at all times. Graham suggested I use their fidget toys, this helped massively to distract me and focus my mind on something else. I also play music through earphones to calm me.Graham, Sarah and Louise have never judged or made me feel silly about being so terrified, even when I’ve burst into tears during my appointment. This has happened with previous dentists which meant I avoided going for years. All my appointments were made to accommodate my anxiety and I know when it gets too much I can stop and have a break before continuing. My appointments with Sarah were exactly the same, she is so calming and constantly checking and reassuring me.As someone who was completely terrified at the thought of going to the dentist to the point of not sleeping for days before appointments, I cannot speak highly enough of this dental practice. I now feel calmer about going and although I am still anxious it’s definitely easier to go to my appointments now.

I have had a year's worth of dental treatment at Taylored, Keighley including 14 fillings and 2 crowns culminating in getting a denture to replace 3 gaps. I did start going to Taylored with some anxiety about pain, having had a bad experience with an NHS dentist who drilled when I wasn't properly numb. I was so relieved when every visit was pain-free. Graham and his team are like a family that welcomes you back each time you visit, and makes sure you feel comfortable and safe.

I chose to use Taylored Dental Services because I have tendency to pass out after injections. Other dentists in the past don’t seem to have been sensitive or sympathetic to this reaction. TDS certainly were when I needed a tooth extraction last Friday.Graham and his dental assistant looked after me wonderfully when I started to feel faint giving me time to recover, a sugary drink a cooling fan and lots of supportive gentle conversation.I’m happy to return to discuss all the other problems that about 20years of avoiding dentists has resulted in.As a bonus the tooth fairy was very generous !

The recent removal of one of my back teeth was a truly pain free experience expertly managed by Graham. Since becoming a regular client I have had various procedures carried out, all with the same calm and reassuring manner that instills absolute confidence and minimises any very slight discomfort. I have found that since my move to Taylored, my general oral health has improved significantly, including the condition of my gums, which has never been as good in all my seventy-three years. The whole team in surgery and reception are friendly and professional, and visits to the dentist have become a routine and completely stress free experience. The welcome is warm and genuine from people who clearly care.

Just traveled 15 miles to visit this Dentist as I am a total wreck when it comes to dentist's I saw this practice advertised on Facebook and plucked up the courage to go. I have recently only joined Taylored Dental Care after being unhappy with my previous dentist and it was the best move I have made. Unfortunately I needed a tooth removing and I was extremely nervous as I do not do very well with anything surgical. I really didn't need to worry as Graham and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish, I didn't feel a thing, even the needle didn't bother me which was a first. The friendliness of the staff at this practice is fantastic and very welcome after previous encounters with other dentists that I have had. If you are thinking of trying them out or changing to Taylored Dental then my advice would be to do it at your earliest opportunity. I should have done it months ago!!

I had a tooth extracted with Dr Graham recently. The procedure itself was smooth and the staff were professional and friendly. However I did experience an electric shock kinda feeling which was due to the needle hitting a nerve. This did cause some discomfort but Dr Graham was very attentive and provided helpful advice. Overall I appreciate the level of care delivered throughout.Hopefully it’ll be back to normal soon, thank you

I am extremely nervous about visiting a dentist and put off doing so until I had no choice, due to a tooth infection and severe toothache. Rosina and her team were so kind and considerate, Rosina explained all my options and went with what made me feel comfortable. I felt a lot more confident in having treatment and ended up having root canal treatment, a filling and two crowns. Rosina and her team made me feel safe and in control which made all the difference. A great big thank you to the Keighley Branch for seeing me at short notice when I dislodged a temporary crown . As a nervous dental patient I have finally plucked up the courage to have some much needed dental work done. This particular tooth is causing quite a few issues as it has been sadly neglected by myself . When I phoned for an appointment at Idle there was nothing available as Kat was off ( everyone's allowed time off ) I got myself so worked up with the thought of having to go over the weekend but the girls on reception were superb. They went over and above to try and sort something out, even though I was both upset and unstable on the phone . After three phone calls they had me booked in at Keighley and the staff were staying late to accommodate the appointment. I saw Richard ( I hope I'm right with this as I was still in a tiz) who was calm , professional, took his time and made me feel safe sat in the dreaded chairThank you to you all for your understanding and professionalism today. Where visits to the dentist are concerned I am extremely nervous. In the past this has meant I have avoided any kind of dental care which obviously isn’t good. Having seen adverts for Taylored Dental Care in Wibsey Bradford, and the promise of treating patients sympathetically, I made an appointment. I’ve been going now for a number of years and can say that I’ve had the best experience. All the staff are incredibly caring, trustworthy and listen to and manage my anxieties and concerns. Unbelievably to me, I’m in a position now where I don’t have any worries or anxiety before my appointments. My dentist is the lovely Rosina and I have also had care from Charlotte Helliwell. Both are great and all the staff (reception, assistants) are fantastic. I’m posting this in the hope that it will help someone who has the same anxiety for the dentist that I used to have. If you do, I strongly recommend that you use Taylored Dental Care.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the team at Taylored Dental Care in Wibsey that dealt with me. Being a person with massive phobias of anything to do with dentists i can clearly say that the whole team put me at ease. From the first consultation a treatment plan was put together for what was required to be done as well as options for the ways to carry out the treatment. One option I took was sedation for tooth extraction which was a massive help for me, also on cavity fillings they gave me earphones to listen to music to drown out the sound. My treatment plan has now come to an end and this was only possible by how at ease they all made me feel. A great touch at the end of my treatment plan was that I received a plant from them and a card to say thank you for putting my trust into them. In all honesty I should have been the one who gave them a gift to say thank you for how they treated me. I would recommend that anybody who has a phobia about dentists like I had should reach out to the team at Taylored Dental Care.
